Christina Stair is a video editor based just outside the Washington D.C. metro area, with a passion for storytelling through visual media. Her journey into editing began in high school, where she first discovered the power of bringing stories to life through post-production. She earned her degree in Digital Filmmaking from Shepherd University's Communications program, graduating in 2015, and has been working professionally in the field since 2016.

Christina began her career in Indianapolis, Indiana, freelancing with WFYI, the city’s PBS affiliate. There, she contributed to a wide range of non-broadcast projects, including award ceremony highlight reels, multi-camera dance performance edits, and educational exhibit videos for local museums. She also played a role in preparing closed captioning for on-air programming.

In addition to her work with WFYI, Christina was active in Indianapolis’s independent film scene. She collaborated on several documentary projects and served as the editor for the award-winning short film Grateful: The Jenni Berebitsky Story.

In 2019, Christina returned to the D.C. area and joined WDVM (formerly WHAG) in early 2020 as a studio camera operator. She quickly transitioned to the station's Marketing Department, where she helped conceptualize and produce promotional content for newscasts and programming. In 2022, following the station’s move and rebranding as DC News Now, Christina contributed significantly to the development of brand materials and marketing assets during the transition. She remained with the marketing team until early 2024.

With professional experience that spans public television, local news, documentary film, and promotional media, Christina brings both technical expertise and creative insight to every project. She's lived coast to coast, drawing inspiration from the people and places she’s encountered along the way.

When she’s not editing, Christina enjoys crafting, gardening, and diving into fantasy worlds—whether at a Renaissance Faire, around the Dungeons & Dragons table, or through storytelling with friends and family.
